Ausflugsziele von Anna Maria Island
Anna Maria Island liegt an der zentralen Golfküste und bietet damit eine gute Ausgangsposition für viele, verschiedenartige Tagesunternehmungen. Die Insel ist mit zwei Brücken mit dem Festland und der dort liegenden nächstgrößeren Stadt Bradenton verbunden, die man innerhalb von 10 Minuten erreicht. Eine weitere Brücke führt Richtung Süden auf die benachbarte Insel Longboat Key und St.Armand Key. Die Ringling Brücke führt zurück auf das Festland und die Stadt Sarasota.
Ellenton mit seinen Primary Shopping Outlet erreicht man in ca. 40 Minuten. Tampa liegt nördlich und ist eine Autostunde entfernt. Nach Orlando benötigt man etwa zwei Stunden.
